Web scraping, data extraction and API integration

We collect structured data from websites and documents, clean and transform it into a usable form, and connect systems so information moves between them without manual effort.

Typical data and integration needs

  • You copy information from websites into spreadsheets by hand
  • Your CRM, accounting and operations tools disagree with each other
  • You receive data as PDFs or exports that need reformatting
  • A partner offers an API you haven’t connected to yet
  • Reports depend on data from several sources
  • An existing scraper or integration breaks regularly

What the work covers

Web scraping

Extracting structured data from websites, with scheduling, change detection and error handling.

Data processing

Cleaning, de-duplicating, validating and transforming data into the format your systems expect.

API integrations

Connecting your applications to third-party APIs and to each other, in one or both directions.

Data delivery

Delivering results to a database, spreadsheet, file store or another application on a schedule.

How a data project runs

  1. 01

    Define the data

We agree on sources, fields, format, frequency and what counts as a complete result.

  2. 02

    Check feasibility

We review access methods, source terms and technical constraints before building.

  3. 03

    Build and validate

We build the extraction or integration and check its output against real samples.

  4. 04

    Schedule and monitor

We set up scheduled runs with alerts so failures are noticed quickly.

How we work on every project

What you receive

  • A working scraper, pipeline or integration
  • Output in your agreed format and destination
  • Documentation of sources, schedules and data fields
  • Guidance on monitoring and what to do if a source changes

What helps us start

  1. 1The sources or systems involved
  2. 2The fields and format you need in the result
  3. 3How often the data should be collected or synchronised
  4. 4API credentials or access, shared securely once agreed

Questions about this service

All questions
Is web scraping legal?

It depends on the source, the data and how it is used. We review the site’s terms and the type of data with you before starting, and decline work that isn’t appropriate. This isn’t legal advice; seek your own where needed.

What happens when a website changes its layout?

Scrapers can break when sources change. We build in checks that flag failures, and can maintain the scraper as part of ongoing support.

Can you connect systems that don’t have an API?

Often, through exports, file drops, database access or, as a last resort, browser automation. We’ll recommend the most reliable option available.
